With the monsoon kicking in the entire country, the past week wasn’t dry in the auto industry either. There have been some ripples in the automotive sector after the announcement of interim union budget 2019 apart from other news about soon to be launched cars. Read on to find out what else made news in the past week. 
Renault has confirmed that the new Duster facelift will be launched in India on 8 July. Last month, the mid-SUV was spotted completely undisguised during its high-altitude testing. Bookings for the Duster facelift are set to commence soon.
Tata Motors found over 10,000 customers for the Harrier since its launch in January 2019. As part of the celebrations, the company has launched dual tone colour options on the Harrier with prices starting at Rs 16.76 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
Mahindra has discreetly put up the BoleroPower Plus with ABS on their website. The SUV gets ABS as standard fitment but there is no official announcement on the pricing yet.
Mahindra has also launched the XUV300with the two-pedal setup. The XUV300 AMT available at in the W8 and W8 (O) diesel-powered variants only and is priced Rs 11.50 lakhs and Rs 12.70 lakhs, respectively.
The Union Budget 2019 has brought some relief to car manufacturers in the country with the announcement on the reduction in GST on electric vehicles from 12 per cent to five per cent, and an additional income tax deduction of Rs 1.5 lakhs on the interest paid towards loans taken to purchase electric vehicles. 
While the market is going big on SUVs, the B1 segment hatchbacks are still a popular choice among first-time buyers with a decently large budget. So we decided to look at the kind of interior space that they offer and give you an idea of which is the most space among the three.
The Auto Expo 2020 dates have been announced and it will be held from 7-12 February at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, UP, India. 
Hyundai has been extensively testing the new Grand i10 in India for a while now. Post much wait, it is believed that Hyundai might launch the new Grand i10 in the country on 20 August.
